Former Sens. Gordon Humphrey and Joseph Lieberman will discuss their recommendation on how the U.S. Government should reinvigorate advocacy – marshaling truth and facts – to persuade foreign audiences.
 
Speakers:
 
Gordon Humphrey was a Republican U.S. Senator from New Hampshire 1979-1990. He later served in the New Hampshire State Senate. Born in Connecticut, Humphrey served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a professional pilot after college at George Washington University and the University of Maryland. In 2004, he purchased an AM station in Concord, N.H., where he resides.
 
Joseph Lieberman was the Democratic vice presidential nominee in 2000 and a U.S. Senator from Connecticut 1989-2013. Born in Connecticut, Lieberman graduated from Yale University where he also received his law degree. He served as Connecticut’s attorney general and as a state senator before entering national politics. Since leaving office, Lieberman, an attorney, has served on a variety of panels and worked with educational institutions.
